 ABOUT LAUREN

Lauren Brooks is the owner of On The Edge Fitness and is the creator of many highly acclaimed Kettlebell based DVDs such as the three-volume DVD series  "The Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning with Kettlebells” and “The Kettlebell Body”.  She is also the creator of the only pregnancy kettlebell DVD  today "Baby Bells” . Lauren earned her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Fitness, Nutrition, and Health from San Diego State University in 2002.  She went on to become kettlebell certified under Pavel Tstasouline in 2005 and was invited to be a Senior Strong First instructor (SFG).  Lauren holds multiple certifications such as  ACE Fitness Trainer, Clinical Nutritionist, Functional Movement Specialist, TRX and Battling Ropes.  Lauren is a published author for the book "Kettlebells For Women: Workouts For Your Strong, Sculpted &Sexy Body". Lauren makes sure to emphasize Nutrition, Lifestyle, Training, and a positive mental attitude. She offers private training, group training, Kettlebell Certification preparation, online nutrition, online workout programs as well as live workshops worldwide. Lauren is a very proud mother of 2 little girls. Drawing on her own experience and research, she inspires others to stay fit and strong even after going through pregnancies and surgeries. Lauren is the writer of many fitness and nutrition articles that appear in online magazines, fitness websites, and hard copy magazines.  She is also seeked out worldwide for her expertise to put on kettlebell workshops and her distant coaching.  Lauren has had the privilege of helping and inspiring thousands of people from all walks of life achieve their fitness dreams. She continues to teach group classes regularly along with private clients in Encinitas, California.  For more information, visit her website OnTheEdgeFitness.com and blog at kbellqueen.blogspot.com.
